The Dreamcast HDMI by Kaico was designed so you could use your Dreamcast on a Modern TV with a simple 'plug and play' solution. Our high-quality Dreamcast HD converter will provide you with a much clearer image than a standard Dreamcast AV cable. Compatible with all TVs with a HDMI input. The cable does not need additional power and carries both audio and video signals without the need for separate converters or VGA cables. Compatible with European, Japanese, and North American region Dreamcast's. Please Note: This Dreamcast HDMI cable is designed to be a simple and effective HDMI upgrade/conversion from the standard VGA Dreamcast cable we stock. The majority of Dreamcast games support VGA, meaning that this HDMI adapter will work with them without any issues. However, a small number of Dreamcast games were not compatible with VGA and only worked with a standard Dreamcast S Video Cable or Dreamcast AV Cable. As this adapter converts the highest quality output of a Dreamcast (VGA) , it therefore doesn't work on non-VGA enabled games as there is no 'signal' available to convert and display the image. Please check your Dreamcast games for any that do not support VGA.
