Antique Late Qing 19th c. Chinese Iron Red Lotus Scroll Lidded Jar w/ Cover

Dimension: 10 inches (25.4cm) tall

Antique Chinese porcelain lidded storage jar, produced late Qing to early Republic of China era (circa 1890–1940), marked with underglaze iron red "Da Qing Kang Xi Nian Zhi" six character mark on base (period later auspicious studio mark, not Kangxi original period).

Exquisitely hand painted overall in vibrant iron red enamel with continuous scrolling lotus & floral pattern covering the whole body, matched with same-pattern domed original lid. Decorative geometric border bands around shoulder, neck, base and lid edge, classic traditional Chinese tea caddy / canister design for storage and display.

Condition

Excellent complete original condition, lid is perfectly matched to the jar body. No chips, cracks, hairline fractures, restoration or major enamel loss. Only minor tiny age wear consistent with antique handling, structurally solid all around.
