The Pokémon will most likely not be lucky unless you use a lucky trinket (we would have to get to great friends) or if you tra-de me a 2020 Pokemon or older. It will most likely not become lucky if you have reached the cap of 45 guarenteed lucky Pokemon. This cap ONLY applies to the trainer who sends the old Pokemon.
