Overall condition looks EXCELLENT for a instrument made in 1961.
The metal looks "wavy" at one small area where the Bell section is soldered to the brace - it does not feel like a dent to me, perhaps it happened during production? Please see pictures. There are no notable dings/small dents on the instrument. Finish has some very minor/samll wear/marks/scratches. The slide action is a excellent 9 out of 10. Inner slide tubes have NO wear through spots. Outer slide is stamped LW (Lightweight). Water Key works fine. Tuning Slide moves freely. Slide lock ring turns fine.
Trombone plays GREAT with a warm yet clear tone that is very resonant. Response and Intonation are excellent.
Instrument looks fairly clean, but I recommend it be given a basic cleaning since I do not know when it was done last.
Original Conn Hard Case and Mouthpiece are in very good used condition.
