How to Install Car Driveshaft
1. Properly support the driveshaft assembly to avoid bending slip yoke, flange yoke and other components.
2. For two-section driveshaft: temporarily mount the middle support bracket without fully tightening bolts, keep slight clearance reserved.
3. For single-section driveshaft: skip the above step. Fit driveshaft slip yoke onto the transmission end, reposition and reinstall if misaligned, then fasten bolts securely.
4. Secure driveshaft flange yoke to rear axle, tighten all 4 mounting bolts with dedicated fasteners.
5. Adjust the hanger bracket position and lock it tightly with bolts to finish installation.
