OBO. Offered is an original Stanley No. 39 folding rule in excellent collector condition. This example retains its original extension and displays clear, legible markings throughout. The German silver fittings are intact and show an attractive aged patina consistent with its age.
Mechanically, the rule is outstanding. All joints and hinges remain tight and firm, opening smoothly while holding position properly when extended. There is no excessive looseness often found on heavily used examples. The extension is present and functions as intended.
The rule shows honest age-related wear from normal use and storage but remains a very attractive, well-preserved example. Complete No. 39 rules with their original extensions are increasingly difficult to find, especially with tight joints and strong overall presentation.
