Celebrate a country Christmas this year! This longer length dress is a long, modest, all-in-one piece designed to look like a blue denim vest layered over a red plaid long-sleeve dress. This style was particularly popular in the 1990s as country wear and currently transitions into the cottagecore and prairie aesthetic.
It features a country blue denim top section and a holly green corduroy bottom section vest adorned with holiday-themed appliques and embroidery, featuring a festive living room scene with a Christmas tree and a warm fire in the fireplace. The bottom half and sleeves continue the warm, red plaid flannel. Cute, little red flower buttons down the front of the dress and vest. (Some of the button holes are stretched, as time and the flower shape wore the button opening down over time; as pictured.) Coordinating denim collar, to match the vest and sleeve cuffs. Shoulder pads sewn in, easily removable. Minor discoloration on back collar. Small seam tear at the wrist. This vintage piece is well loved, but in great overall shape!
