
This framed antique Vermont broadside measures 22" x 27" in the frame and dates from the late 1890's. It reads "White's Golden Tonic For Horses...Out Of Condition..." along the top with a great image of a horse and claims it cured "Indigestion, Loss Of Appetite, Scratches, Yellow Water, Hide Hound, Pink Eye, Stomach Staggers and Swelled Legs" Kimball Brothers was located in Enosburg Falls, VT (the abandoned factory still stands today) that made all sorts of "quack medicines" from the turn of the century will until the middle of the 20th century. They would send horse drawn wagons all over Vermont with these advertisements and their medicines. It shows some damage from age (Its over 125 years old!) including some soiling/fading and creasing (as seen in pics) but still displays well. It actually looks much better in person than pics! This antique Vermont broadside comes in a great antique period wooden frame, under glass, which displays well and is ready to hang! A real piece of Vermont history!
