Vintage Ginny Baby Vogue Doll Vinyl Hard Plastic Pink and White Dress Eyelet Lace Bonnet 1960's Sleepy Eyes Drink and Wet

In Somerville, Massachusetts a home-maker named Jennie Graves took her love of dolls and fashion, and created a doll company which would eventually develop one of the most popular dolls of the mid-20th century, Ginny. This doll is dated to be from 1960-1967. She has rooted platinum blond hair, with open and close sleepy eyes, and a little mouth with a hole in the back for the drink and wet function, as well as an exit hole in her bottom. (Not tested, as I didn't want to get her wet, due to her age.) She has the prettiest green eyes, with painted eyelashes, as well as rooted eyelashes and 'sleepy eyes' that go up or down, depending on her position. She has adorable little dimples on her peachy face with pink blushed, cherub cheeks. Embossed hair patterns on her forehead and back of her head as well. Her head moves from side to side, and her arms and legs are posable. She is wearing a cloth diaper with vintage safety pins, original pink dress and matching pink bonnet, with lace trim. The attention to detail from her button nose, to tiny toes is impeccable.

She has very light markings on her face, as well as some scratching on her limbs. Her dress has been mended, and she is missing a small bit of eyelashes on her left eye, with minor eye cloudiness. Minor staining on clothes. Approx. 16 inch. Overall, excellent condition for her age.
