Original soundtrack to Penelope Spheeris's 1984 punk drama, filmed in Downey, CA with real street kids rather than actors. The film documented the fringes of the early LA hardcore scene, and the soundtrack captures that world directly — live concert performances from D.I., T.S.O.L., and The Vandals, plus an original score by Alex Gibson.
The Live Side opens with D.I. delivering "Richard Hung Himself," followed by two T.S.O.L. tracks from the Jack Grisham era — "Wash Away" and "Darker My Love" — and The Vandals' "Legend of Pat Brown." The Score Side is Alex Gibson instrumentals composed for the film. Album produced by Paul B. Cutler and Alex Gibson. Band photos by Ed Colver.
This is an original US first pressing on Enigma Records (E-1093), 1984. White label with black text on the Live Side; red Enigma logo label on the Score Side. Copyright and phonographic credit to Enigma Records 1984 — no Restless catalog number present, confirming this is the original Enigma issue, not the later reissue.
