An elegant antique hanging hall lantern, believed to be French and dating from around 1900.

The lantern features a richly ornamented brass frame with scrolling Rococo Revival details and shaped heavy glass panels. Its architectural form, warm brass finish and decorative metalwork give it an impressive Old World character.

A beautiful statement light for an entrance hall, foyer, staircase, library or other traditional interior.

CONDITION

Very good antique condition with age-appropriate signs of wear and patina. The heavy glass panels are intact, and the lantern is in working condition. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.

The lantern is fitted with an E26/E27 socket. Electrical requirements and installation regulations vary between countries. Installation and inspection by a qualified electrician are recommended before use. Please use a bulb suitable for your local voltage.
