Original large binoculars used by the Imperial Japanese Navy during WWII.
This was one of the most commonly used binocular types by the Japanese Navy, from naval vessels to aviation units.
Features
The carrying case appears to be a late-war production model, made from canvas fabric coated with dark gray-black paint.

Some markings became difficult to read due to later coating, however the following can still be identified:
The binoculars appear to have been repaired using parts with different serial numbers, and some original markings were painted over afterward.
Condition
There are scratches, scuffs, and age-related wear consistent with wartime use and age, but overall the item appears to remain in relatively good condition.
