Genuine vintage, British ,Ross London, WWII‑era prismatic field binocular;

“Bino Prism No. 5 Mk V ×7”,

7× magnification, 50 mm objectives— the standard issue binocular used by the British Army in the mid‑1940s.

This unit carries the Ordnance Stores marking “OS 997”, confirming its official Army issue.

The optics body bears the characteristic, sealed dry‑air ports (top screws), used to purge moisture and protect the internal prisms — a feature typical of late‑war Mk V production.

The leather case & straps are also in marvellous condition with only a handwritten in ink, “K. Warp” hidden beneath a bottom, case strap.
