Elegant French 8-Light Classical Chandelier in Solid Brass

Offered is this exquisite French 8-light chandelier, inspired by the refined elegance of late 18th-century Classicism. Crafted from solid brass, this impressive chandelier has a substantial weight of approximately 21 kg and displays outstanding craftsmanship throughout.

Dimensions:

* Body height: 22.47” (57 cm)

* Total height including chain and ceiling canopy: 42.51” (108 cm)

* The total height can be easily adjusted.

The entire body and all eight gracefully curved arms are richly adorned with finely chased acanthus leaves, laurel garlands, and other classical decorative elements.

Particularly striking is the beautifully designed central column, inspired by classical French Empire and Restoration models. It is shaped as an elegant amphora-like urn and enriched with finely cast acanthus leaves, palmette decoration, and ornamental pinecone finials. These motifs, derived from Greek and Roman antiquity, were highly appreciated during the Classical and Empire periods and give the chandelier its noble architectural character.

A particularly charming feature is the set of original wax-cardboard candle sleeves with decorative stucco drops, preserving the authentic character of the piece. The chandelier is completed by a large decorative pinecone finial at the bottom.

The chandelier and its electrical wiring are approximately 40–50 years old and remain in excellent condition. It is fully functional, undamaged, and ready for installation.

All chandeliers are professionally cleaned and carefully inspected. Restoration work is carried out when necessary to preserve the original character and quality.

The chandeliers are in very good condition.

Standard screw socket bulbs can be used, including LED, energy-saving or halogen bulbs (according to the socket type stated in the listing).

The electrics are suitable for worldwide use. After purchase, I will gladly provide country-specific information if required.

For safety reasons, all chandeliers and lamps should be installed by a qualified electrician.
