Old Prohibition Whiskey Prescription Doctor Stub Pharmacy Bar Rockford IL

Welcome

&

Thank You for Shopping In the USA!

A great original Prohibition doctor's prescription stub for Whiskey ~ Oi (1 pint)...for Acute La Grippe aka Influenza! Please see photo!

From the days of Al Capone, speakeasies and moonshine this was the only legal way to drink liquor in the US!

The whiskey was prescribed for Catherine Fletcher, by Dr. James M. Severson, both of Rockford, IL, on October 18, 1930.

It was issued by the Treasury Department and when held to the light, PROHIBITION is partially watermarked. The prescription stub measures 4 1/2" by 3", has light age toning and an ink smear, otherwise, condition is excellent.

This is a fantastic piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, museum, bar or office! I am happy to answer any questions, please feel free to email and thank you for your interest!

This is a FANTASTIC piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, wine cellar, distillery, museum, bar or office! Also a great gift or an addition to a collection of pharmacy, medicine, US currency, Alcoholics Anonymous, Capone, 1920s, bar, Americana, stamps and DEA items!

Pleased to combine shipping with other Prohibition Prescriptions, Liquor Licenses, Opium Forms & Pharmacy Labels. As always, many thanks to my regular customers for your continued patronage! :)
