1960 Yoshiya Japan Tin Battery Operated GREEN PILOT Flying Saucer & Original Box

ULTRA RARE tin battery-operated flying saucer which was made in Japan by KO Yoshiya in 1960.

THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE GREEN PILOT VERSION!!!

These Saucers, made by KO Yoshiya, were made in several variations under different names but all built on this platform. Normally this red one (with blue astronaut) is the most common but.. with this GREEN PILOT in control, it’s the RAREST VERSION OF THEM ALL!!!

In action the saucer moves around with mystery bump and go action while the engine runs at the back with swivelling light, screaming sound and the GREEN PILOT moves his arms to control and steer the saucer. Another feature of this saucer is the large revolving spiral spring antenna.

After testing the space toy with batteries, he does exactly as described above and is in FULLY WORKING condition at the time of listing this item, as shown in the video provided.

The space toy is in very good to excellent condition for its age showing only minimal signs of wear and a few minor scratches and marks. The battery compartment is clean and no damage or cracks to the plastic cockpit dome.

The space toy is accompanied by its original box which shows usual expected signs of wear and creasing to corners, sides and ends.

Approx. 19cm in diameter.

Requires 2 x D cell batteries (not included).
