This is a lovely, Quintessentially Art Nouveau, Late Victorian or Edwardian, Sterling Silver Visiting Card Case.
It is hallmarked with the assay mark for Chester, the date letter A for 1901, and the maker's mark of James Deakin & Son.
Excellent antique condition, just light scratches, light tarnish, and polish residue. The hallmarks are clear.
The case is 7.9 cm x 4.1 cm, and it weighs 21 g.
