Perry Miniatures French Battalion 1807-14 contains 44 hard plastic multi-part figures. This enables you to model a 36 man battalion marching or attacking plus 8 Elite company men skirmishing. The box includes an assembly and colour guide with cut-out flags, and plenty of optional parts.

The figures wear the French uniform of 1807 to 1812; from the time when the bicorne hat started to be phased out until the Bardin Regulation uniform of 1812 started to be introduced. With coats and headgear being replaced on a 3-year cycle (a third of each regiment's men received a new coat each year), and with the supply issues of the 1813-15 campaigns, the long-tailed coat and 1806-model shako were still in use right until the end of the Napoleonic Wars.

The figures in this set can also be easily used with just a different paint scheme for infantry of states allied to the French, for example, Italy, Naples, Westphalia and other Confederation of the Rhine armies, as well as painted to represent the short-lived 1807 French white uniform.
