Antique Chinese Yongzheng Famille Rose Peony Floral Motif Porcelain Plate 9''
Dimension: 9 inches (22.86cm)
This is an authentic **Yongzheng period (1723-1735)** Chinese export porcelain plate, decorated in the classic **famille rose** palette. It is a fine example of 18th-century Chinese porcelain made for the European market.
The plate features a vibrant central scene of large blooming peonies, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune in Chinese culture, surrounded by smaller flowers and foliage. The border is elaborately decorated with alternating cloud-shaped cartouches, each containing a single lotus or peony blossom, set against a turquoise key fret and iron-red scrollwork background, a hallmark of Yongzheng-era export design. The enamels are bright and well-preserved, showcasing the soft pinks, greens, and blues characteristic of the famille rose technique.
Good antique condition consistent with age. There is a faint hairline crack on the base (visible in photos), but no chips or repairs. Enamels remain vibrant with minimal wear.
