The MR-G series is G-SHOCK’s flagship line.

This is a special 30th-anniversary model of the MR-G, featuring a titanium case based on the “FROGMAN” diver’s watch, which is water-resistant to 200 meters (ISO standard). The watch’s design and materials capture the sharp, quiet beauty of “brinicles”—a natural phenomenon that forms beneath the sea ice in polar regions.

The bezel has been meticulously cut by master gem cutter Kazuhito Komatsu to form a multi-faceted, swirling pattern. It also features two brilliant-cut lab-grown blue sapphires that emit a deep blue glow under strong light.

The case back features sapphire glass with a blue vapor-deposited coating, adorned with the iconic FROGMAN frog motif, along with a serial number (limited to 800 pieces worldwide) and the inscription “MR-G 30TH.”

The crown features a screw-lock mechanism for superior water resistance, while the band is crafted from DuraSoft rubber, offering both durability and exceptional comfort. The watch can be easily put on or taken off by pressing the button on the underside of the lugs while removing the side pins.

In terms of functionality, it features Bluetooth® connectivity and achieves stress-free operation thanks to three dual-coil motors that enable high-speed hand movement. You can view your dive log on your smartphone and check the data measured by the watch in greater detail.

To commemorate the MR-G 30th anniversary, this special edition comes in a PROTECA-made package containing a replacement titanium bracelet and a dedicated tool for changing it.
