Offered is this stunning vintage French plafonnier chandelier, dating from approximately the 1970s–1980s. The fixture is richly ornamented with beautifully cast gold bronze / brass elements and decorated with numerous faceted crystal glass stones, creating an elegant sparkling effect when illuminated.

In my opinion, this chandelier has a very luxurious and glamorous appearance, strongly inspired by classic French Hollywood Regency and Maison Baguès style lighting. The combination of the warm gold finish and the large faceted crystals gives the lamp an exceptionally noble and sophisticated presence, even when switched off. The detailed openwork metal structure and the high number of crystal elements make it especially decorative and eye-catching.

The chandelier is fitted with 4 lights and produces a warm, atmospheric illumination. Due to its relatively flat shape, it is ideal for rooms with lower ceilings while still offering the elegance of a full chandelier.
