The 'SD-20M' features microphone inputs on the front panel and line inputs on the rear panel to accommodate a wide range of applications. In addition to a 4-track recording function that allows simultaneous recording of line inputs from a mixer and backup microphone inputs, it also includes a dual recording function that simultaneously records lower-level audio to prevent level overloads, ensuring safe recording in any situation. It uses SD cards as recording media and supports high-resolution linear PCM recording as well as MP3 for long-duration recording. It can also be powered by four AA batteries, allowing recording to continue even in the event of a power outage.
