This is me continuing to Ebay items either left over from my own personal house building/renovations, or my collecting/musical interests or surplus items from a house move of a few years ago. I've many items that I don't think I'll ever need again in my lifetime & so I'm disposing of them before I eventually reach room temperature.

  I am now sorting out some musical stuff:

This sale is for a nice trumpet engraved on the bell: "Conn International BY 201"  made in the 1990's I think.

Basically it's in superb condition with excellent gold lacquer etc, no dents to speak of & all valves operate smoothly.

The main finish is Gold Lacquer with some chromium or nickel parts & the lead pipe appears to be copper.

Of course there are the tiniest scratches on really really close examination & a miniscule pin-head dint here & there but nothing which shows up on any photograph.

The ONLY genuine blemish is a really strange little crescent shaped mark on the end of the first valve slide - about the size of half a little finger nail. It makes no sense what has caused it but the chromium or nicked plate has clearly been affected by something - see the last 2 pictures.

Two tuning slides move freely - see the pictures - but there are two which are stuck - & I'm not going to attempt to force them out. The tiny little middle valve slide is stuck completely in (not too important) but the main tuning slide is stuck about 15mm out from fully in (see the pictures) but I'm sure with perseverance you or your instrument technician could release both of them. I would imagine the tuning slide is stuck because it has been left for too long at its normal 440 tuning position so I'd guess the trumpet will currently play perfectly in tune at normal modern low-pitch.

The case seems older  than the trumpet & is badged "Conn - Choice Of The Artists" - see the picture - but is still strong & sound with just the external leathercloth showing it's been well travelled & the internal supports/upholstery is OK but tired. The catches are OK but fiddly & the handle seems fine.

There is an aluminium mute with it which looks almost new.

Because of the two seized tuning slides I think my price is fair - please let me know if you disagree.

Anyway, inspect the pictures & ask for anything specific you need to know or need pictures of.
