Bring bold Art Deco style to your shelf or desk with this striking pair of vintage banded onyx marble bookends featuring dramatic geometric stepped architecture and beautiful natural caramel, cream, honey, and gray striping throughout.
These sculptural bookends display a classic Machine Age / skyscraper design popular during the Art Deco and early Mid-Century periods. The polished stone surfaces reveal exceptional natural banding and translucency, making them equally attractive as decorative display pieces or functional bookends.
The pair appears hand-carved from solid banded onyx marble (often referred to as Mexican onyx) with a nicely matched mirrored appearance. Heavy and substantial with excellent visual presence.

Condition
Very good vintage condition overall with light age-appropriate wear. Minor small edge flea bites, natural stone inclusions, and slight surface imperfections typical of vintage carved stone pieces. No major cracks or repairs observed
