The CMC company was founded in 1973 in Miami, Florida managed by Charlie Massing, production of automobiles and kit cars began under the brand CMC in 1978. According to two sources, George Levin took over the company in 1978 and expanded it to become one of the largest in the industry and offered many different models. In the 1980s, Fiberfab Inc. was acquired but production ended in 1996 but after the dissolution, the company initially operated as Street Beasts and then as Tiffany Cars .
