Expressive museum replica with a profile portrait of the important Prussian architect and designer Karl Friedrich Schinkel. The relief is based on a design by August Kiß (1802–1865), an important German sculptor of the 19th century. century.
The plaque was made by the renowned plaster molding workshop of the Berlin State Museums - an institution that has been in operation since the 19th century. Century produces high-quality reproductions of important works of art and sculptures.
The dark patinated surface underlines the sculptural modeling and gives the object the appearance of a bronze plaque. An interesting collector's item for lovers of classical art, Berlin history and museum objects.
