A Pretty Vintage Wood & Sons Dorset Brown/Cream Teapot Set with Two Teacup Trios.
In good condition without any chips or cracks.
The teapot has heavy crazing along with some crazing on the teacup trios - please see photos.
This pretty teapot and trio set has an overall cream background which is decorated with a hand engraved brown floral pattern highlighted with ornate floral bands.
Saucers have a slightly lighter brown variation to side plates.
Backstamp - Dorset, Made in England, by Wood & Sons Burslem, Genuine Hand Engraving Pattern Under the Glaze, Acid & Detergent Proof dates manufacture c1940-60s.
Perfect to add to any high/afternoon tea table or vintage teapot or brown transferware collection.
Teapot measures approx 14cm high to top of finial on lid, 23cm from spout to handle and 12cm wide.
Teacup measures 9.2cm across inner rim, 11cm to handle and stands 6.5cm high.
Saucer measures 14.3cm across and stands 2cm high.
Side plate measures 17.5cm across and stands 1.5cm high.
