A beautiful vintage Ukrainian Orthodox home icon featuring the Guardian Angel near the Lord’s chalice, with the traditional inscription “Christ Is Risen” visible at the bottom of the image.

The icon is mounted inside a solid hand-carved wooden kiot / arched frame. The wooden surround is richly decorated with geometric chip-carved patterns, star and rosette motifs, and a carved Orthodox cross at the top with radiating lines. The dark aged finish gives the piece a warm, authentic folk-art character.
