This is a vintage JNR (Japanese National Railways) cap from what I believe is Showa 33 (1958).

The label has a release stamp (may actually be a Hanko) & some names that were sharpied over on it. 

This cap has some wear and dirt visible on it. The band on the inside is misshapen from storage/shipping, the brim and chin strap has some dirt stains, some of the writing on the label is covered/dull, there is some patina on the metal fittings, and the fabric band has some wear on it.

Please note that there may be other marks or stains or signs of wear that I was unable to see myself or are included in the photos, so please look closely at the photos provided, and if you want another photo of a specific area please ask.
