Originating from the 1940s M-422, the G-1was developed as the U.S. Navy's standardintermediate flight jacket, built for durabilityand mobility in naval aviation. Throughmultiple specification revisions, beginning withthe 55J14, itevolved into the iconic G-1,officially designated "JACKET, FLYING MAN'S,INTERMEDIATE TYPE G-1.

This version references the mid-1960s MIL-J-7823D specification and is crafted fromgenuine goatskin. The upgraded brown tonereflects early-generation aesthetics, offering afinish that feels historically grounded andauthentic.

This version focuses on the elements that matter most in wear and presence.

The collar is fitted with genuine natural shearling, cut asa one-piece construction for a fuller, more authenticprofile. Full-wool ribbing and period-style stitchingpreserve the early-generation character, while a smoothrayon lining improves comfort against the skin foreveryday use.

The result is a jacket that feels closer to the original inspirit - but clearer, stronger, and more considered inexecution.

Goat leather has many advantages: firmness of cowhide, softness of sheepskin, and retroness of deerskin. The only disadvantage is that it has a more obvious smell of sheep. This time, after several iterations of targeted development, we finally presented this retro goat leather without the smell of sheep.

The texture is thick and soft, the leather surface is full of grain, the pores are clear and without coating. It is not inferior to expensive deerskin in all indicators, and it has better wear resistance, becoming the preferred leather for retro style leather clothes.
