This Shell coin set is presented in the original display card and has been carefully stored in a sealed box since I completed the collection in 1970. The Shell "Man in Flight" coin collection was a promotional series released in 1969 to celebrate aviation history and space exploration. This set was released to coincide with the Apollo 11 moon landing. Customers received a random coin packet with every fuel purchase at participating Shell garages.
