For sale is a rare vintage Ibanez 2372 electric guitar, featuring its original electronics, original hardware, and original hard case. The guitar is in good overall condition for its age and remains a great example of this distinctive vintage model.

Sound & Electronics

One of the most interesting features of the Ibanez 2372 is its unique electronics and versatile tone-shaping capabilities. The pickups deliver a remarkably focused, clear, and articulate sound, while the advanced tone controls allow you to shape the sound to suit a wide variety of musical styles.

I say almost any style because the pickups are relatively low-output and may not be the best choice for high-gain applications or heavy metal. For clean tones and a broad range of other musical styles, however, they offer plenty of character and versatility.

The electronics are fully functional and remain in original condition, with no signs of resoldering or modifications. I have included detailed photos of the electronics for buyers who would like to inspect them.

Condition & Playability

I would rate the overall condition as good. There are some light scratches and minor chips in the finish, but the guitar has been well preserved for its age. Please take a close look at the photos to assess the cosmetic condition in detail.

The neck feels comfortable, and the string action is low and easy to play, reflecting a good fit and setup. The frets show no significant signs of wear, which is particularly important on this model, as the frets are relatively low to begin with.

The fretboard has been properly cared for, the wood has been conditioned, and the frets have been polished.

The tuning machines are original and functional. They are perfectly usable, although they do not quite meet modern standards. If I were keeping the guitar for myself, the tuners would be the only component I would consider upgrading. That said, I have chosen to keep the guitar in its original configuration.

Original Hard Case Included

The guitar comes with its original hard case, which is also in reasonably good condition for its age. It completes the package and makes this a particularly appealing set for collectors and players who appreciate vintage Ibanez instruments.

The guitar will be carefully packed in high-quality double-wall cardboard packaging to ensure it is well protected during transit.
