This is a Harrison ligature for clarinet.
It features a silver-plated (SP) base with an additional pink gold-plated (PGP) finish.
[Regarding Condition and Modifications]
- The aftermarket pink gold plating shows signs of peeling.
- The ligature previously snapped and has been repaired.
- Following the repair, it was reinforced with sterling silver.
- As a result, it is likely more durable than a standard Harrison ligature.
- Please refer to the photos to examine the condition, including signs of the repairs, modifications, and wear from use.
[Playing Characteristics]
Although used for clarinet, it also worked well with a Selmer Concept alto saxophone mouthpiece.
It offers a relatively light blowing resistance, with good responsiveness and ease of play.
