Sapphire & Steel. Originally broadcast on ITV between 1979 and 1982, the series is a highly atmospheric, psychological mystery focused on safeguarding the corridor of Time.

• Discs: 6-disc collection containing all 34 episodes across 6 distinct "assignments".

• Total Runtime: Approximately 850 minutes (over 14 hours).

• Format: Full Frame 4:3 aspect ratio (its original broadcast format) with Dolby Digital Mono audio.

• Region Coding: Region 1 (NTSC). This means it requires a multi-region or Region 1 compatible player to watch if you are in the UK or Europe

The series features Joanna Lumley (later famous for Absolutely Fabulous) and David McCallum (later known for NCIS) as mysterious, elegant, yet detached inter-dimensional agents. Instead of humans, they are the humanoid manifestations of chemical elements.

• The Premise: They are sent to Earth to investigate anomalies where Time breaks through into the present day, usually triggered by an accumulation of old objects, nursery rhymes, or historical fixation.

• The Powers: Sapphire can read the history of objects (psychometry) and manipulate local time, while Steel possesses superhuman strength, analytical thinking, and can freeze himself to absolute zero to combat "ghosts" or remnants of Time
