*TENDER ONLY* HORNBY OO Gauge R2692 Battle of Britain Class 34090 'Sir Eustace Missenden' British Railways / Southern Railway Green
Thank you for viewing our listing for this OO gauge tender. The tender is for a Battle of Britain Class, manufactured by Hornby (R2692). The loco the tender is intended for carries the running number 34090 and is named 'Sir Eustace Missenden'. It is presented in an interesting changeover-period livery, still wearing Southern Malachite green but with early BR emblems, it also features green painted, lined wheels instead of the normal black examples.
The tender features a plastic body and chassis with some added weight. It is well detailed with numerous separately fitted parts including ladders, steps and lamp brackets. There are also sprung buffers.
The tender is presented in good, used condition. The moulded plastic coal load is missing. NOTE that this listing is for the TENDER ONLY. It comes unboxed. Please view all of the images to help gain a better understanding of any damaged areas.
A useful item which would be ideal for running with one of your locos, changing its identity. It would make a great addition to your layout!

ABOUT US - TEST TRACK MODELS
Hi, I'm Tom, a model railway lifer and car tragic. I've spent many, many hours working on model railway layouts at home, being roped-in by my dad at a young age! I also have a passion for cars and used to collect 1:18 scale examples.
With over 10 years' experience buying & selling on eBay and having spent all of my working life in different levels of retail I decided to take a risk, leave my career and set up Test Track Models, intending to bring good value to a strong selection of pre-owned model railway items, cars of all scales and perhaps the other odd thing in between.
It's been exciting so far (and a steep learning curve) and I look forward to where it might end up.
I commit to reusing packaging where I can to lessen any impact, and using options such as paper packing tape.
With thanks,
Tom
