Your Iron Man helmet deserves more than a basic servo controller. ALISHA MKE is the full-featured board ? gesture control, NeoPixel outputs, expansion ports for sound and gyroscope ? all pre-programmed and ready to wire.
No coding. No Arduino IDE. No debugging.
ALISHA (Arduino-compatible LED & Integrated Servo Helmet Actuator) MKE is a purpose-built ESP32-C3 control board for Iron Man helmet automation. It's the step up from the MKE-Mini: more ports, NeoPixel support, and dedicated expansion headers for the S.U.E. sound module and a gyroscope ? for builders who want the full stack.
Drives up to 3 MG90S servo motors (faceplate open/close), 2 PWM LED eye outputs, 2 NeoPixel outputs (pixel 1 pre-programmed for an 8×8 NeoPixel panel arc reactor effect, panel not included), and includes expansion ports for S.U.E. (sound) and gyroscope add-ons.
| Gesture | Action |
|---|---|
| Tap | Opens / closes the faceplate |
| Double-tap | Cycles LED eye brightness (Off / Low / Medium / High) |
| Hold | Activates standby or alternate mode |
No button panels. No multi-switch wiring. One button handles everything.

Choose MKE-Mini if you're building a standard Iron Man faceplate + LED eyes with no plans for NeoPixels or sound expansion.
Choose MKE if you want NeoPixels, plan to add S.U.E. for sound, or want the gyroscope expansion option.
| Item | Notes |
|---|---|
| USB power bank (5V, 2.1A+) | Required ? do not use AA/AAA battery packs, they can damage the board |
| USB cable (charging-rated USB-Mini) | Not included |
| MG90S servos (up to 3) | Recommended; not included |
| LED eyes | Any 5V LED; each port has built-in 100? current limiting resistor |
| Momentary switch (NO type) | Required; not included |
Recommended operating voltage: 5V?6V (do not exceed 6V ? MG90S servos max at 6V)
| Option | What You Get |
|---|---|
| MKE Only | Board only ? wire it to your existing servos and LEDs |
| MKE + PENELOPE | Adds the USB keep-alive module ? prevents power bank auto-shutoff mid-convention |
| MKE + S.U.E. | Adds external MP3 sound module for helmet audio effects |
| MKE + S.U.E. + PENELOPE | Complete package ? automation + sound + reliable power |
Yes. ALISHA boards motorize the majority of Iron Man helmet models on the market. If your helmet has a servo-driven faceplate mechanism ? commercial prop kit, 3D-printed build, or custom fabrication ? ALISHA drives it.

On initial power-up, the LEDs will blink and servos will move to their home position. Press the button once to confirm ready state ? after that, every press opens or closes the faceplate. The firmware handles the rest.
