I am cleaning out a family storage area, and will be listing several options for purchasing vintage Christmas tree ornaments. Very early Lanissa! This offering is for one box with 4 ornaments. I have two boxes, so a total of 8 ornaments, Lanissa brand ornaments, marked West Germany. DGBMa. All are the same size- 3 inches in diameter. They all show signs of wear. You can see from the images that the colored band in the middle is actually designed to be a little bit concave. Both boxes are original Lanissa boxes. The top cellophane is loose on both boxes. I saw them on the family Christmas tree for many years growing up. They have been in storage since the late 1990's and are now looking for a new home where they can be enjoyed.
The shipping, as listed, is for one box of 4 ornaments. If you purchase all 8 of them, they would ship in 2 boxes. You would need to double the shipping cost.
"Early Lanissa ornaments were primarily made in the 1950s, particularly noted for their glass construction and festive designs. These ornaments are often associated with the Mid-Century Modern style and were produced in West Germany during that era." from Yahoo.
