Cub Cadet LGTX1054 14" Steering Shaft 738-04421 with EPS Coupler
Original Cub Cadet steering shaft, part number 738-04421, with its matching electric power steering (EPS) input coupler. Removed from a 2013 Cub Cadet LGTX1054 garden tractor, model 13YZ92AK010, with only 53.4 hours of operation.
Included Components:
14" steering shaft, part number 738-04421, and the original mating splined coupler that connects the shaft to the electric power steering transmission.
The steering shaft measures 13-15/16" end to end, excluding the coupler, and is identified as a 14" shaft in the Cub Cadet parts catalog.
Condition:
Good used condition with normal cosmetic wear from service. Both components were removed together from a low-hour mower with functioning electric power steering. The steering shaft and coupler are guaranteed to be in working condition.
Why Buy the Shaft and Coupler Together?
When the steering shaft splines become worn or stripped, the mating splines in the coupler can also be damaged. Replacing only the shaft may not correct the problem if the coupler is worn. This assembly includes both original mating components from the same low-hour mower, eliminating the need to locate a separate coupler.

The included EPS coupler was removed from an LGTX1054 model 13YZ92AK010 equipped with electric power steering transmission 618-05084A. Models equipped with the same EPS transmission and steering shaft are the strongest candidates for interchange. The coupler's fitment on every model listed above has not been independently confirmed.
The EPS transmission itself is not included. The coupler does not have a separately confirmed Cub Cadet service part number.
