Handmade Rustic Raku Fired/Raky Glazed Leaves on a Rustic piece of Driftwood.

Created as a rustic decorative hanging.

The yellow and orange leaf have been raku fired leaving a slightly smokey pigment to the glaze in areas.

The blue leaf, white leaf and black veined leaf have all been fired in a Electric kiln and have not gone through the Raku firing process but do have Raku glaze applied. All the leaves vary is size but are all approximately 4/5mm in thickness. Fided firmly to a rustic piece of driftwood found on the Cornish Coastline attached to some rustic rope for hanging.

The driftwood measures approximately  57cm x 10cm and is approximately just over 1cm thick.

This piece I made back in 2024 so it is new butvhas been hanging in my studio since. Please see my other handmade creations available for purchase.
