Build up the grain and agricultural traffic on your HO scale layout with the Walthers Proto 920-106182 55' Evans 4780 Covered Hopper, lettered for Clay Center with USLX reporting marks as USLX #26283. This ready-to-run freight car arrives fully assembled and detailed, ready to roll straight from the box into revenue service behind your favorite power.

The Evans 4780 covered hopper first appeared in 1977 and has remained a common sight ever since, moving everything from grain to the dried distiller's grains (DDGs) used as animal feed. The model of car 920-106182 captures the prototype with factory-applied grab irons, see-through etched-metal walkways and end platforms, correct side braces, and separate vibrator brackets on the hopper bays. Crisp paint and lettering, free-rolling 36" RP-25 turned metal wheelsets, and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers complete the car, which is part of a one-time run of these road numbers in limited quantity.
