Expand the grain traffic on your HO railroad with the Walthers Proto 920-106176 55' Evans 4780 covered hopper, decorated for Armstrong USLX #20813. Introduced in 1977 and still hard at work today, these cars handle all kinds of grain as well as the dried distillers grains (DDGs) used for animal feed, making them right at home on modern and recent-era layouts.

Fully assembled and ready for service, item 920-106176 carries factory-installed grab irons, see-through etched-metal walkways and end platforms, correct side braces, and separate vibrator brackets on the hopper bays. Sharp paint and lettering for Armstrong USLX #20813 complete the look, while ultra-smooth 36" RP-25 turned-metal wheelsets and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers keep the car tracking and coupling reliably. This is a one-time run of these road numbers in limited quantity.
