Description Original vintage instruction sheet for the Mego Fly-Away Mechanism used with 12-inch superhero action figures.
The illustrated sheet explains how to assemble the Fly-Away mechanism using the 12-inch string, 16-foot string, pull ring, top pulley, body clip and elastic band, then shows how to attach the mechanism to a superhero figure and operate it from a doorknob or door hinge.
A note specifically instructs that for superheroes wearing capes, the Fly-Away mechanism should be placed underneath the cape.

Condition Original vintage instruction sheet with light age and handling wear. Light remnants of one horizontal fold and one vertical fold remain. There is a light finger bend at the upper right corner and an area of surface roughening along the upper left edge, as shown. Small original printing flaw at the top right where part of the “L” in “ELASTIC” did not print completely.
