VINYL: VG+

SLEEVE: VG+

3D GLASSES: PERIOD 1982 REPLACEMENT – NOT ORIGINAL TO THIS LP

Original 1983 UK first pressing of The Cramps’ Off The Bone on Illegal Records, catalogue number ILP 012.

First issue with the distinctive 3D artwork sleeve.

Matrices / runouts:

Side 1: ILP 012 A / GG / “WHAT COLOR PANTIES ARE YOU WEARING?”

Side 2: ILP 012 B1 / GG / “AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WEARING THEM?”

The vinyl is in VG+ condition with a good glossy appearance and a number of light surface marks and hairlines visible under strong light. There is a light spidery surface mark towards the end of “Domino”, which has been specifically play-checked and does not cause any significant audible problem.

The record has been deep cleaned and fully play-checked. Playback is strong and clear overall, with some light background crackle and occasional clicks in places.

The original 3D sleeve is in VG+ condition. The artwork remains clean and bright, with the spine lettering still legible. There are some light edge creases, a little creasing around the front opening edge and a small amount of wear to the centre of the bottom edge, but overall it remains a very presentable example.

The original 3D glasses are no longer present. However, this copy comes with a separate pair of period 3D glasses dating from 1982, included as a nice bonus for viewing the sleeve artwork. These are NOT the original glasses supplied with the album.

A very presentable, fully play-checked example of the original 1983 UK pressing, complete with the sought-after 3D sleeve and the distinctive etched runout messages.
