This sweet little soprano uke is in surprisingly great condition. I put new strings on. It tuned it up, and it actually plays quite well, considering the age and the fact that this is not the same quality instrument that Martin was producing. It simply doesn’t stay in tune, as well as the Martin… And at the time was probably a much lower quality instrument… That being said, this thing oozes, vintage ukulele, charm, and if you’re looking to complete a collection, this one is a real eye catcher… I see no cracks or major scratches anywhere on this thing. The only thing I noticed is that some of the little black dot fret markers along the plastic fretboard are missing, revealing the top of a Phillips head screw… I would simply punch out a little piece of round black vinyl and glue them in with a microscopic dab of Elmers glue to return this thing to perfect condition
