This is only a decorative model, not a real microscope! Both the eyepiece and the objectives are only replicas. Most of the parts cannot be moved, and all the screws are fixed in place!

The only movable parts are the objective turret, which can be rotated and stops securely when the selected objective is in position. The replica objectives can also be removed from the turret. The mirror can also be rotated.

I was unable to find any information about the manufacturer, but judging by the quality of the workmanship, I would not be surprised if it were an original Carl Zeiss Jena product, probably made for promotional purposes.

The model is approximately 15 cm tall and feels quite solid and substantial. When held in your hand, it feels like a real microscope. In any case, it is a beautiful and interesting decorative piece.
