A collection of material relating to John’s attendance at the Foyles literary luncheon in 1964. It comprises: A Signed Copy Of In His Own Write (UK) A UK April 1964 third edition hardback copy of John Lennon’s book ‘In His Own Write’ autographed on the first inside page by John Lennon in blue ballpoint pen, the following page has been signed by Helen Shapiro in blue felt tipped pen. The autographs were obtained at the Foyles literary luncheon held in honour of the publication of the book which took place at the Dorchester Hotel, London on 23rd April 1964. The book measures 14cm x 18cm (5.5 inches x 7 inches). The condition is very good. A Foyles London Luncheon In His Own Write Programme (UK) A four sided programme from the Foyles literary luncheon which has been signed on the reverse by the following people: Dancer actor and bandleader Victor Silvester, comedian Arthur Askey, writer and composer Lionel Bart, actress and comedian Cicely Courtneidge and the actor and comedian Harry Secombe. The programme measures 16.5cm x 25.25cm (6.5 inches x 10 inches). It has been folded horizontally across the centre and it has a small tear on one of the folds. The condition is very good minus. A Foyles London Luncheon In His Own Write Seating Plan (UK) A four sided seating plan from the Foyles literary luncheon. It has been signed on the back by Wilfred Bramble. The programme measures 12.5cm x 21.5cm (5 inches x 8.5 inches). It has been folded horizontally across the centre. The condition is very good.

Excellent = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable .
Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable.
Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition.
Poor = Extremely worn.
A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
