A large and very decorative brush with hand painted lacquered handle with dragon and flowers) and thick black fibres (probably horsehair?) - I think a Chinese calligraphy brush. No signs of use for painting, and based on the wire loop preciously displayed as a decorative wall hanging. Measures an impressive 58cm long in total.

CONDITION - a little surface wear and a few small losses to the painted finish (please see pics - 1960’s or 70’s in date?) ) but nothing too serious and an unusual curio.
