Black With Orange |
|
Glows In The Dark |
|
Fits 22mm Lug Width |
Orange is the colour expedition and rescue kit is made in, and for a good reason: it is the one shade that stands out against green, grey, brown and snow alike. Set against black it reads as proper outdoor equipment rather than a fashion strap, and it is the pairing that suits a chunky sports watch best. Then the glow takes over once the light goes.
Key Features
- High-visibility orange – the colour that shows up against grass, rock, mud and snow, which is why rescue kit uses it
- Black keeps it wearable – dark body with an orange accent, so it is bold without being a novelty
- Glows in the dark – charges in daylight and shows up once the lights are out
- You will not lose it – easy to find in a rucksack, a kit bag, long grass or a dark tent
- Fits any 22mm watch – a standard lug width, so it is not tied to one make or model
- Soft sport silicone – comfortable running, in the gym and overnight, and it wipes clean in seconds
- Swaps back in a minute – nothing permanent, so keep the original for smarter days

Check it will fit, and how the glow works: Measure the gap between the lugs on your watch – the two horns the strap sits between – and make sure it is 22mm. The easiest way is to take the old strap off and measure that. The glow is charged by light, not by a battery: leave it in daylight or under a lamp for a few minutes and it will glow brightly at first and then gradually fade over the following minutes, the way luminous watch hands do. It is not designed to glow all night, and a strap kept up a sleeve all day will not have charged.
Please note: This is an independent aftermarket strap sold on its own. No watch is included, and it is not made by, supplied by or endorsed by any watch manufacturer – any brand or model named in this listing is mentioned only to indicate which watches the strap is intended to fit. A few watches use a proprietary fitting rather than standard spring bars even at 22mm, so check yours takes ordinary spring bars before ordering. Bright colours can look slightly different on screen depending on your display, so please go by the photographs. Take care with the spring bars when fitting it, as it is easy to scratch a case with a sharp tool; any jeweller will fit a strap in a couple of minutes for very little.
