Rare set of 6 Colorado Division of Gaming / Colorado Gaming casino-related commemorative chips.

These unusual chips were associated with the Colorado Division of Gaming, the state agency responsible for regulating and investigating casino gaming operations in Colorado. Unlike ordinary casino chips issued by a specific casino, these feature Colorado Gaming enforcement / investigator insignia and references to Colorado’s historic gaming towns.

Included are six different chips:

• White “10 Year Anniversary 1991–2001” Investigator Gaming Division chip with 1
• Green “10 Year Anniversary 1991–2001” Investigator Gaming Division chip with 25
• Pink Colorado Gaming Integrity • Honesty • Service chip with 2.50
• Red Colorado Gaming Integrity • Honesty • Service chip with 5
• Black Colorado Gaming Integrity • Honesty • Service chip with 100
• Silver/white Colorado Gaming Integrity • Honesty • Service chip with Colorado state seal

Edges include references to Blackhawk, Central City and Cripple Creek, along with the former Colorado gaming office address at 1881 Pierce. Colorado Division of Gaming records from the period confirm the agency operated from 1881 Pierce Street in Lakewood.

The anniversary chips commemorate 1991–2001, reflecting the first decade of Colorado limited gaming regulation. ChipGuide catalogs Colorado Division of Gaming chips and identifies a 2001 anniversary issue as obsolete.

These are collector / commemorative pieces and are not being represented as currently redeemable casino chips.

Very difficult set to find together and an excellent addition for collectors of:

Colorado casino memorabilia • Black Hawk chips • Central City chips • Cripple Creek chips • gaming commission memorabilia • law enforcement collectibles • obsolete casino chips

Please examine all photos closely for condition. You will receive the exact six chips pictured.
