This lets you jump immediately from a clean rhythm sound to a heavy lead or effects-laden tone. • Bank button toggles between different memory banks of presets. This lets you expand your available options on the fly, doubling the number of sounds you can access right from the floor. • Tap out the speed of time-based effects—like delays, echoes, or modulations—so they perfectly match the tempo of the song you are playing. • Manually turn individual effects (like overdrive, reverb, or chorus) on and off within a preset.

It relies on a specific digital connection and will only function properly with compatible Vox Valvetronix and VX modeling amplifiers (such as the VT20+, VT40+, VT100+, VT20X, VT40X, and VX II). It will not work standardly with traditional non-modeling guitar amplifiers.
